Among the patients infected with coronavirus, 13 more recovered and returned home in one day. Corona patients were discharged separately from two medical centers in Chittagong on Saturday (May 9) at noon. Of these, 9 patients have been discharged from Chittagong General Hospital and 4 patients have been discharged from the isolation of Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID) Hospital in Fauzdarhat. So far, a total of 62 patients have returned home from coronavirus infection in Chittagong, including 13 of them.
Chittagong District Civil Surgeon confirmed the matter. Sheikh Fazle Rabbi said that the results of these 13 people came negative in the Covid-19 test twice in a row. As they were healthy, the concerned doctors gave them clearance and all of them returned home. However, he also mentioned that everyone returning home will voluntarily stay in quarantine for another 14 days.
Incidentally, the number of patients infected with corona in Chittagong district was 206 till Saturday (May 9) afternoon. Of these, 61 have recovered and returned home and 18 have died.
